How to Invite Collaborators & Review Campaign

A guide for Owner, Admin, and Manager to review a campaign before launch and manage feedback together.

This guide is for Owners, Admins, and Managers who want to gather feedback on a campaign before it is launched.

Collaborators do not need to be existing workspace members, but they will need to create a Folktale account to access the review page.

This reviewing step is designed to happen before launch.

Overview

Before launching a campaign, you can invite up to 5 collaborators to review it. Collaborators can leave comments, reply to each other, and flag issues directly on the campaign. You can mark comments as resolved or dismiss them once they have been addressed.

This is part of the pre-launch checklist in Folktale. Once your review is complete, you can proceed to launch the campaign from the same dashboard.


Step One: Open the Pre-launch Checklist

  1. Go to the dashboard of the campaign you want to review.
  2. Click the What's next? button on the right side of the dashboard to open the pre-launch checklist.


Step Two: Invite Collaborators

  1. Scroll down the pre-launch checklist and click Invite others to review.

  1. In the Email Addresses field, type a team member's email address.
  2. Click Add to confirm the address. Repeat for each reviewer. You can add up to 5 collaborators.

  1. Add an optional personal message if needed.
  2. Click Send Invitation to send review requests to all added collaborators.

💡 Note: Collaborators will receive an email invitation. They must accept the invitation and create a Folktale account before they can access the review page.


Step Three: Review the Campaign Together

Once your collaborators have accepted their invitations, open the campaign in Review Mode to see and respond to their feedback.

  1. Click the Review button on your campaign dashboard. This opens the campaign in Review Mode.

Leaving and Replying Comments

  1. In the comment panel on the right, type your feedback and submit it.
  2. Collaborators can do the same from their own accounts.
  3. Click Reply under any comment to respond directly to the feedback.

Resolving or Dismissing Comments

  1. Once a comment has been addressed, click Resolved.
  2. Dismiss to mark it as complete, or to close it without action.

💡 Tip: Use Resolved for comments that required a change and Dismiss for feedback you have decided not to act on. This keeps the review thread clear.


Step Four: Proceed to Launch

Once you have worked through the feedback and the campaign is ready, return to the campaign dashboard to complete the remaining pre-launch checklist items and launch.

  1. Click the back arrow or navigate to your Campaign Dashboard.
  2. Complete any remaining pre-launch checklist items and click the Launch Campaign button when you are ready to go live.

Your campaign has been reviewed with your collaborators and is ready to launch.
