Edit Your Campaign Settings

A guide for campaign creators and workspace members who'd like to adjust campaign details, schedule, questions, and consent form after a campaign has been created.

🎯 Who is this for?

  • Campaign Creators and Editor
  • Workspace Owners, Admins, and  Managers

who need to update a campaign after it has been created.

Managers can edit settings on campaigns they are assigned to, but only if they are given access.

Overview

Campaign Settings lets you adjust a campaign after it has been created. Settings are organised across four tabs: Details, Schedule, Questions, and Consent.

Most settings can be changed at any time before the first response is received. Once responses come in, some settings become locked to protect the integrity of your data.

⚠️ Important: Settings may become restricted once your campaign has received responses. Review and finalise your settings before sharing the campaign with contributors.

Step One: Open Campaign Settings

  1. Go to the dashboard of the campaign you want to edit.
  2. Click the Settings button.
  3. The Settings panel will open with four tabs: Details, Schedule, Questions, and Consent.

Step Two: Edit Campaign Details

The Details tab lets you update the core information about your campaign.

Name and Description

  1. Edit the campaign name, description, and any other general information as needed.

Media Settings

  1. Scroll down to the media settings to choose which file formats contributors can use to respond (video, audio, image, or text).
  2. Toggle each format on or off to match your collection needs.

Response Settings

  1. In the Response Settings section, toggle on Anonymous responses if you want contributors to be able to respond without sharing their identity.
  2. Toggle on Multiple responses if you want contributors to be able to submit more than once.

Quick Response Settings

  1. Review your Quick Response Settings in this section.

💡 Note: Registration Fields cannot be changed after a campaign is created. These were set during campaign creation and are locked to maintain consistency across responses.

Step Three: Edit the Campaign Schedule

The Schedule tab controls when your campaign stops accepting responses.

  1. Click the Schedule tab.
  2. Toggle on End Date to set a closing date and time for the campaign.
  3. Select the date and time you want the campaign to stop accepting responses.

💡 Tip: Setting an end date is optional. If you leave it off, the campaign will continue accepting responses until you manually close it.

Step Four: Edit Campaign Questions

The Questions tab shows your full list of campaign questions. You can edit or remove questions here.

  1. Click the Questions tab.
  2. To edit a question, click the pencil icon next to it and update the text.
  3. To remove a question, click the trash icon.

⚠️ Important: Changing questions after responses have been received may affect the consistency of your data. Where possible, finalise your questions before the campaign goes live.

The Consent tab shows the terms and conditions that participants see before they submit a response.

  1. Click the Consent tab.
  2. Edit the terms and conditions text directly in the text box.
  3. Alternatively, upload your own consent document using the upload field.

Last Step: Save Changes

For every change made to the campaign, please ensure to click the Save Changes button.
