How to Review a Campaign

A guide for invited collaborators to access the Review Campaign page, leave comments, and manage feedback before a campaign is launched.

🎯 Who is this for?

This guide is for collaborators invited to review a campaign before it launches. You do not need to be an existing workspace member, but you will need a Folktale account to access the Review Campaign page.

Overview

When a campaign owner invites you to review a campaign, you will receive an email invitation. From there, you can sign in to Folktale and access the Review Campaign page, where you can leave comments, reply to others, and mark feedback as resolved or dismissed.

The review process happens before launch. Once the campaign goes live, the review page is no longer active.

Step One: Open Your Invitation Email

  1. Find the review invitation in your inbox. It will be sent from Folktale on behalf of the person who invited you.
  2. Click the Review Campaign button in the email to continue.

💡 Note: You need a Folktale account to access the Review Campaign page. If you do not have one yet, you can create one in the next step.


Step Two: Sign In or Create an Account

After clicking the invitation link, you will be prompted to sign in or create an account.


If you already have a Folktale account:

  1. Click the Accept & Sign In button.

If you do not have a Folktale account:

  1. Click the Create One button and follow the steps to set up your account before continuing.


Step Three: Sign In or Sign Up with Your Email

  1. On the Sign In page, enter your email address. Click the Send a link to my email button to proceed.
  2. Check your inbox for the email from Folktale.

New users:

You will receive a verification email. Follow the link to confirm your address and complete account creation.


Returning users:

You will receive a Sign In Request email. Click Sign in to Folktale in the email to proceed.

💡 Tip: Check your spam or junk folder if the email does not arrive within a few minutes. The sign-in link expires after a short period — if it has expired, return to the Sign In page and request a new one.

  1. After that, choose whether to stay signed in on this device. Tick the Keep me signed in on this device.
  2. If you are on a personal or trusted device, then click Continue.

⚠️ Important: Do not tick 'Keep me signed in on this device' on shared, public, or work devices that other people have access to.


Step Four: Review the Campaign

After signing in, you will be taken to the Review Campaign page. The campaign is displayed alongside a comment panel where you and other collaborators can discuss and leave feedback.

Leaving a Comment

  1. Type your feedback in the comment field in the right-hand panel and submit it.

Replying to a Comment

  1. Click Reply under any comment to respond directly to a collaborator.

Resolving or Dismissing a Comment

  1. Click Resolve once a comment has been addressed to mark it as complete.
  2. Or, click Dismiss to close a comment without taking action.

💡 Tip: Use Resolve for comments that led to a change in the campaign, and Dismiss for feedback you have decided not to act on. This keeps the thread clear for everyone.

Continue the discussion until you and the campaign owner are satisfied that the campaign is ready to launch.


Done

🎉 Congratulations! You have successfully reviewed the campaign. Your feedback has been submitted. The campaign owner will be notified and can act on your comments before launching.
